Yes, I am super duper happy about having another bambino.
No, I have not taken a single belly shot.
Yes, I am sick as a little doggie who at too much Halloween candy.
No, I am not wearing maternity clothing yet, but it won't be long:).
Yes, I will find out if it's a girl or boy.
And, no I don't have a preference.
Yes, I am sleeping with a body pillow made especially for women who have trouble sleeping on their side.
No, I have not explained this whole pregnancy thing to Walker.
Yes, I plan to when there are less than seven months left.
No, I am not doing dishes very often these days.
Yes, I did the laundry this week.
And, yes, it was piled on my dining room table for three days, along with a random bottle of Listerine that my son found in my bathroom cabinet.
Yes, I stopped him before he drank the Listerine.
No, I did not allow my son to eat mint chocolate chip ice cream for his afternoon snack b/c I knew it would entertain him for twenty minutes and I just needed a few more moments of quiet and I don't like that flavor much anyway.
Uh, yes, I just lied and I have the grainy picture to prove it.
More details to come, but only read if you can take the brutal honesty that I am about to inflict on your eyes and minds...this is real life, people!!!!:)
I have been working hard to teach Walker the meaning of "sharing."
Apparently, sharing doesn't come too easy for two year olds. Bless their sweet, stingy hearts.
But today I saw a glimmer of hope that he's *getting it.*
Walker already had lunch at Parent's Day Out and I was sitting down to eat a Subway sandwich and a bag of chips. I was about to sink my teeth into a yummy harvest cheddar sunchip when my son scrunched up his face and said...
"SHARE, MOMMY, SHARE."
I laughed so hard.
He's getting it. He's really getting it. Now if I can just convince him to share his chips...
This picture has nothing to do the topic of sharing, but it's cute so I'm posting it anyway:).
Just had to post a preview of our recent photo session with Laura Coppelman.
Laura and I have been best friends since kindergarden when we used to fight over boys on the playground, and I am so proud of her for recently launching her own business in Miami, FL.
I was able to tag along when Laura photographed our best friend, Emily, for her engagement session. (Don't get me started on how gorgeous those photos turned out!) So I could hardly wait to see Walker's photographs at the same location - Emily's parent's farm.
I am so so so happy.
They are perfect.
And trust me, he is a moving target and not easy to phograph;).
A you-may-not-hear-from-me-for-days-at-a-time kinda blogger.
Part of me feels guilty. But, eh, I'm just to busy trying to live life (and feel like a half-way decent wife/mommy/friend) that I don't have the energy (or pictures) to write about it at the end of the day.
I promise I'll get better. More regular. And dependable. Soon.
