I want to introduce y'all to a beautiful little boy named Miles.
If Walker were to tell you about Miles he would probably tell you that he has cool toys (and a bunk bed in his room), he smiles a lot and he knows how to share his goldfish. All important things to note on a playdate.
I will tell you that Miles is a very special little dude - just ask his big sister and brother, Sadie and Noah.
Miles was recently adopted from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa.
I cannot stress enough how deeply I have been and continue to be touched by Miles' story and the story of so many orphans like Miles.
I went to high school with Miles' Mommy (Megan) and I have asked her to write a guest post about her experience with growing her family through internation adoption (coming soon!) but I encourage you to check out her blog in the meantime. It's linked off my blog roll on the right (Terry Household) but you can click here to visit as well.
Megan's honest posts throughout the adoption process - like this one and this one, oh, and this one- have spoken to my heart. And I just know that Miles' story has something to say to yours as well...
Love ya gal!
